We have drawn together this guide following customer comments that led us to believe there is a general misconception of what each of our products are designed for and when best to wear them.

The Prowik shirt is an excellent base layer designed to be worn against the skin during any activity. It is loose fit garment.

Notwithstanding the above, many of our customers love the feel and properties of the Prowik shirt, they wear them on there own down at the gym, and even under their day to day clothing.

The Prowik will keep you:

Warmer (although fully breathable)
Drier by moving moisture away from your body
Odour Free - (Invasan AM 110 Anti Microbial System)
UV Protected (UPF 50+ sun protection rating)
Comfortable (anti static & non cling)

The DryShirt is designed primarily to be worn as a top layer in the summer months. The fabric is of a slightly greater weight than the Prowik but is still one, if not the, lightest, water repellent shirts on the market. The DryShirt is a loose fit garment.

The DryShirt will keep you:

Warm
Dry – The DryShirt is water repellent & breathable
Odour Free - (Invasan AM 110 Anti Microbial System)
UV Protected (UPF 50+ sun protection rating)

Please note the DryShirt is NOT a coated fabric - it is made of 100% nylon fibres that are impregnated at the filament level with a hydrocarbon hybrid. With the correct care the amazing properties of the shirt should never fail!

The Pro-Fit is designed primarily to be worn as a top layer in the summer months. The fabric is of a slightly greater weight than the Prowik but is still one, if not the, lightest, water repellent shirts on the market. The Pro-Fit is a compression fit garment manufactured with exactly the same properties as the DryShirt.

The Proguard will keep you:

Warm
Dry – The DryShirt is water repellent & breathable
Odour Free (Invasan AM 110 Anti Microbial System)
UV Protected (UPF 50+ sun protection rating)

The "Base™" product comprises 0.5mm ultra-flex neoprene on the body and our ProGuard water repellent sleeves that are made of 80/20 nylon lycra. This makes for the ULTIMATE in wintertime base layer for those sailing in very cool to cold climates!
